General Wellness Blood Work Panel
General Blood Panel: $246-$577

More Than the Basics. Without Testing Everything.

Sometimes you need more information about your health, but that doesn’t mean you need to run every lab available!

Our General Wellness Blood Work Panel is designed for clients who want a broader understanding of their health without jumping straight into our most comprehensive testing.

This panel goes beyond routine bloodwork by looking at additional markers related to inflammation, cholesterol, thyroid function, liver health, and metabolism.

It’s a great middle ground when basic testing doesn’t tell us enough, but your symptoms or health history don’t necessarily call for an extensive evaluation.

The goal is to get the right information for where you are in your wellness journey, not simply order more tests.

What Does the General Panel Evaluate?

Our General Panel explores several important areas of health, including blood sugar regulation, insulin levels, cholesterol, cardiovascular risk markers, inflammation, thyroid function, iron status, vitamin D, liver and kidney function, and overall blood health.

By expanding beyond the basics, we can start identifying patterns across different systems without immediately moving into more specialized testing.

What’s Included in Our General Wellness Panel?

Our General Wellness Panel includes a complete blood count (CBC) with differential, reticulocyte count, comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), fasting insulin, hemoglobin A1c with estimated average glucose (eAG), and a detailed lipid panel that evaluates cholesterol, triglycerides, and important cholesterol ratios. We also evaluate high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), homocysteine, and uric acid for additional insight into inflammation and cardiovascular health, along with iron, ferritin, total iron-binding capacity (TIBC), unsaturated iron-binding capacity (UIBC), magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamin D to better understand nutrient and mineral status. Additional testing includes direct bilirubin, gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) for a closer look at liver and tissue-related markers. We also include a thyroid profile with TSH, total T4, T3 uptake, free thyroxine index, and total T3 to provide a broader thyroid assessment than TSH testing alone.

Together, these tests give us a more complete picture of your everyday health while keeping the testing focused on general wellness and metabolic function.

Who Is This Panel For?

Our General Wellness Panel is a great option for clients who:

  • Want more information than a routine physical typically provides
  • Are experiencing mild or occasional fatigue
  • Want to better understand their cholesterol and cardiovascular markers
  • Have concerns about blood sugar or insulin regulation
  • Want to explore inflammation markers
  • Are interested in a broader thyroid evaluation
  • Are working on improving their nutrition, metabolism, or overall health
  • Have completed basic bloodwork but want a closer look
  • Want a more comprehensive wellness baseline without extensive specialty testing

You don’t need to be experiencing major symptoms to benefit from this panel. It can also be a helpful option for anyone wanting to take a more proactive approach to their health.

How Is This Different From CORE or Foundational Bloodwork?

Not everyone needs the same level of testing.

Our CORE Panel gives us a starting point by evaluating important markers related to blood health, blood sugar, iron, vitamin D, and metabolic function.

Our General Panel builds on those basics by adding a closer look at cholesterol, inflammation, cardiovascular markers, liver-related markers, and thyroid function.

Our Foundational Panel goes further by including additional testing such as C-peptide, fibrinogen, vitamin B12, folate, red blood cell zinc, reverse T3, free thyroid hormones, and thyroid antibodies.

If you’re dealing with more complex symptoms, ongoing thyroid concerns, or health issues that haven’t improved, the Foundational Panel may be a better starting point.

But if you’re simply looking for a broader wellness check without the need for extensive testing, General may give us exactly what we need.

We don’t believe everyone needs the biggest panel. We believe in choosing the right panel for the right person.

What Happens After My Bloodwork?

Getting your results is just the beginning!

During your Lab Review, your practitioner will walk through your results, explain what they mean, and discuss any patterns or areas that may need additional attention.

We look at your results alongside your symptoms, health history, nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness goals.

From there, we’ll develop a personalized wellness plan that may include nutrition changes, lifestyle adjustments, targeted supplements, additional testing, or other supportive services.

Sometimes the General Panel provides enough information to begin making meaningful changes. Other times, it helps us identify specific areas that deserve a deeper look.

Follow-up testing may also be recommended to monitor your progress over time.

How Do I Get Started?

Once you schedule your appointment, our team will arrange your lab order and provide instructions for completing your blood draw at a convenient LabCorp location near you.

Please complete your intake paperwork promptly so our team can prepare your lab order. Your practitioner will provide any necessary fasting or blood draw instructions.

Your results will be reviewed during your scheduled appointment, typically at least three weeks after your blood draw.

Not sure whether General is the right panel for you? Give our team a call or use our website chat. We’re happy to help you choose the best starting point for your wellness goals.

After your blood draw, please allow at least three weeks before scheduling your Blood Work Review appointment to ensure we have adequate time to receive and carefully review your results.

Your Next Steps

Booking Your Blood Work Appointment

Please book your appointment for two weeks out. After your appointment has been accepted by Health Inc., you will get a confirmation email with your intake forms. These forms must be completed within 48 hours to give us the information needed to order your bloodwork and will take about 30 minutes to complete. Once we receive the paperwork, we will email instructions for making an appointment at your local LabCorp. We are only able to send these out Monday through Thursday. Any appointment made Friday- Sunday will be sent the following Monday. You will want to arrive at your blood draw in a fasting state of at least 10 hours, so we recommend making a morning appointment. When you meet with the doctor, you should arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment is scheduled. If your review will be virtual, you should have access to your computer to see the report as it is reviewed with you. In this first appointment, you will review your blood work, be given an action plan for healing, and have your questions about your blood work answered.

After Your Bloodwork Review

We recommend checking in with your doctor or practitioner about a month after this appointment. This ensures the action plan they set for you is going well and nothing needs to be shifted. They will let you know if they would like to run any other specific labs as a follow-up.
