A Neurological Functional Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation designed to help identify areas of the brain and nervous system that may not be communicating or functioning as efficiently as they should. This assessment is often recommended before Advanced Laser Therapy or for individuals with more complex neurological presentations where a customized treatment plan is needed.
This evaluation may be beneficial for individuals experiencing symptoms related to concussion recovery, brain injuries, attention challenges, sensory processing concerns, learning difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, OCD tendencies, autism spectrum concerns, chronic neurological symptoms, or other complex brain-based conditions.
During the assessment, we evaluate reflexes, balance, coordination, eye movements, sensory processing, motor function, cognitive performance, and other neurological indicators to identify patterns of imbalance within the nervous system. The goal is to better understand which areas of the brain may need additional support and determine the most appropriate therapies, exercises, laser applications, supplements, lifestyle strategies, and wellness recommendations moving forward.
Because every brain is unique, this assessment helps create a more personalized roadmap for care rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
