Getting Started with Your Care

Your first appointment at Health Inc. Wellness Center begins with a Chiropractic Functional Exam. This visit is designed to give you a clear understanding of your current health status while ensuring you feel informed, supported, and confident in your care.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email with intake forms to complete within 48 hours of booking. These forms take approximately 45 minutes and allow our team to thoroughly prepare for your visit. Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time to settle in before your exam.

Throughout your appointment, a Health Inc. team member will guide you through each assessment, explain what we are evaluating, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A chiropractic exam is a comprehensive evaluation designed to understand your spine, nervous system, and overall musculoskeletal health. During your exam, your health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to health issues will be documented.

Chiropractic Functional Exam Components Include:

  • Postural and spinal assessment: Evaluation of posture, spinal alignment, and structural imbalances

  • Range of motion testing: Guided movements to assess joint mobility, flexibility, and areas of restriction

  • Neurological and functional testing: Assessment of nervous system function and movement efficiency

  • Thermal scanning: Detection of inflammation patterns and nervous system activity

  • Imaging (when indicated): X-rays may be recommended to further evaluate spinal alignment or rule out underlying issues

Your Next Steps

After your Chiropractic Exam, you will schedule a Report of Findings appointment. During this visit, the doctor will review your exam results, explain what they mean for your health, and discuss recommended care options.

Based on your findings, a personalized care plan will be outlined. This plan may include chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic or corrective exercises, lifestyle recommendations, and follow-up visits. This process ensures you have a clear understanding of your care plan and feel confident moving forward with treatment. Your care plan is designed to support improved function, balance, and long-term health.
