Dr. Jessica Dietrich-Marsh

For years I suffered from headaches, sinus infections, and allergies. In college, I developed “adult-onset asthma.” A friend always told me, “If you would just see my chiropractor, you wouldn’t have this nonsense!” Being pre-med at Ohio State and wanting to specialize in surgery, there was no way I would go to a quack! Months later, in a moment of weakness, I agreed to go with her. Surprisingly, it immediately helped my headaches, so I decided to go when the aspirin no longer worked.

About a year later, I was involved in a severe accident and could not move my right shoulder without pain. Drugs made me loopy and unable to study and didn’t touch the problem. I returned to the chiropractor and was consistently adjusted for the first time. It took almost nine months to regain full use and strength in my shoulder, but my recovery was complete.

My chiropractor sat me down and asked me how I had done over the months. I told him I was thrilled that my shoulder worked again. Then he pulled out my file and said, “You know, when you first started seeing me, you had sinus infections every other month, headaches weekly, and asthma attacks every time you ran. How is all of that going?” Stunned, I had to think about the last time I had problems and quickly realized it had been at least six months. Dr. Siegel closed my file, sat back, and asked me why I wanted to be a medical doctor. I told him I wanted to help people. He looked me in the eye and said, “Think about helping them before they ever need surgery, and maybe if you’re lucky, they won’t ever need it.” What a powerful statement! I had grown up thinking the only way to help people get healthy was by operating on them.

I looked at every Chiropractic College in the United States and decided that Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa, was where I wanted to attend. Palmer was the founding chiropractic school; it was where it all began. While I was a student, I was lucky enough to obtain a work-study position in the archive department, where I was allowed to review the original books, photographs, and documented techniques of the Palmer family. I read over so many miracles that they helped foster through the adjustments. I knew I had made the right choice.

For nearly 30 years, I have seen my practice (and many of my patients) grow. I have come to love the family atmosphere that we have created. We have several generations all under care: cousins, aunts, childhood friends, parents, grandparents, and children who meet in our office for their shared adjustment days. We have even had a few blind dates arranged between patients, resulting in marriage. In our office, we firmly believe in the premise, “If there is something you don’t like, change it.” If it is an aspect of your health that needs to change, we will work with you to accomplish your goals. Let us help you, help yourself. Whatever it is, take responsibility and change it. We are continually amazed at what our patients can achieve.

To me, family is of utmost importance. I have three daughters, one son, an incredible husband, dogs, cats, and an awesome cabin where I host unique life-changing retreats. As a family, we love to travel to new places, learn about new cultures, and visit zoos. When not in the office, I love to be outside, take walks, stargaze, create wellness education, and find amazement in this place we call home.

I have been adjusted no less than once a week for over 35 years. During that time, I have seen tremendous changes in my health. I don’t “catch” colds, and neither does my family. My children have never taken any prescription medications or any other over-the-counter medications. We’ve had one ear infection that was resolved immediately by a chiropractic adjustment. I had to break down and give my kids “wellness days” that they could take from school because they complained that others got to have a break occasionally when they were too sick for school.

Now that you know just about everything there is to know about me, let me hear from you. I am an excellent listener and look forward to meeting you in person and discussing your specific health challenge(s).

I have brought together a team who all believe healing comes from within and together we are here to support you within all pillars of health.

Dr. Russell Marsh

Dr. Russell and I met on a blind date oh so many years ago. He has been the family’s backbone, allowing me to create an incredible work/life balance.

Dr. Russell is an Alabama native who began his career at UAB fixing all the hospital computers and robots before IT was a thing. While there, Russell continued his education with a Bachelor’s in Spanish (yes, he speaks this language beautifully) and then a Master’s in English. At this point, he knew he wanted to be home more with his children, write, and farm. Publishing a few short stories, winning awards, learning how to farm 20 acres organically, raising almost 200 farm animals (not including the four bee hives), and keeping up with four young children kept him very busy for the next decade.

Surprising everyone, Dr. Russell applied for medical school at UAB, was admitted, and life changed. Moving fast to shift into a different life and new dreams, the farm was sold, and Dr. Russell attended Residency at St. Vincent’s.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, reading, listening to podcasts, and writing great novels.

Dr. Doug Roberts

Dr. Doug and I have shared patients for years! He was the Lake Doc, and I was the home doc! When it came time to expand our adjusting days, I knew I had to find a doc that could adjust as I did! Dr. Doug joined our team in October 2022! When he is not at Health inc, you can find him at Alex City Chiropractic.

Dr. Doug is an Indiana native who bumped around the Midwest until age 18 when he settled in South Carolina for college. Upon receiving his college degree, Doug headed to Life College of Chiropractic in Georgia, graduating in 1996. Doug practiced in New Hampshire until 2004, and then he and his family gladly gave up the freezing weather for the warmer climates of Alabama. Alex City Chiropractic opened in 2005 and is still in the exact location. He has always enjoyed working with patients of all ages and is very focused on each patient’s needs. Everyone loves Dr. Doug!

Doug has many creative talents, including woodworking, and can build or rebuild almost anything. He is also a great mechanic, creates beautiful wire sculptures, and thoroughly enjoys a long motorcycle ride. Dr. Doug is currently on medical leave but will be back soon.

Michael Wight

Michael and I have known each other for decades, both in and out of Health inc. He and his wife were among the first patients to learn the Four Pillars of Health. Applying these to himself and his growing family, he saw changes that took him in an entirely new direction than he anticipated.

Seeing the direction I was taking the office and the steps needed to create a wellness center, Michael joined the team in 2020 and quickly became an integral team member. Working closely alongside Dr. Jessica has fueled his passion for helping people reach their maximum potential. Michael enjoys giving back to patients what he has gained over the last 20 years of wellness, wholeness, and fullness of life.

He offers Holistic NPT and Emotional Detoxes, runs all of our New Patient Exams, and, most importantly, makes the team a good cup of coffee.

Stephanie Greenlea

Stephanie and I met over a decade ago at The Angela Foster Center, where I was a patient attempting to get my health and colon on the same page. Angela was a tremendous early mentor for me, both professionally and personally. When she unexpectedly passed away, I knew we had to continue the colonics and find Stephanie, as she was the last person Angela trained, which equipped her with a wealth of knowledge on herbs and other natural remedies essential to colon health. It took me almost a decade to arrange this, and I’ll never forget that first phone call asking if she would train us, but ending with what I really want to know is if you’ll come to work for us… I barely got the last word out before she said yes, and the rest is history.

Stephanie’s exceptional skill set has enabled her to provide comprehensive and tailored colonic therapy to patients across all age ranges, including young children and special needs individuals. She is dedicated to ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease during their treatment. Her proficiency in her craft has produced remarkable outcomes for her patients, making her a highly sought-after therapist.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Stephanie finds fulfillment in spending quality time with her loved ones. Her passion for her work and her commitment to the welfare of her patients is a testament to her professionalism and expertise in colon therapy.

Anna Wight

Anna and I met in early 2000 when she and her husband visited me for her PCOS and fertility issues. They had been told having kids would be difficult, and there wasn’t money for fertility treatments, and they wanted different options. This couple was among the first to whom I introduced the 4 Pillars of Health.

Over the next two decades, Anna and her husband delved deeper into the 4 Pillars, expanding their knowledge and making significant lifestyle changes. Together, we have partnered with and spoken at several wellness events.

In 2023, Anna joined our team after obtaining her Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) training. She authored several cookbooks and built a thriving wellness business as a Holistic Educator & Coach, aiming to bring hope to those struggling to find answers. As a CNHP, she offers various services, including Iridology, food consultations, cooking help, and recipe ideas. Anna is a wife and mother of several beautiful children.

Anna believes in connecting the mind, body, and spirit and enjoys bringing this approach to life for others. She advocates using real food to heal the body from the inside out, and her expertise in nutrition and wellness has helped many achieve healthier, happier life.

Carlye Stringfellow

Feeling abandoned by her medical doctors, Carlye sought care from me in early 2020 and found healing through various Healthinc modalities. Her delightful personality and energy quickly returned, and we knew we had to add her to our office as our Patient Concierge.

Every patient has a unique story, and Carlye wants to hear it. Carlye calls to check in on our patients, answer any questions, and give you a big ole hug through the phone!

Carlye is a compassionate healthcare professional who understands the importance of listening to patients and their unique experiences. With a professional degree in Public Relations, she brings a wealth of communication skills to her role, interacting with patients in person and over the phone to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. When she is not at the office, you can find Carlye on the pickleball court, experimenting with new recipes, or relaxing with her family on her back porch.

Marissa Marsh

Marissa and I met almost three decades ago when she showed up as a delightful spark of life. As my first experience of caring for another human being, her health was entirely in my hands, and the title “Dr. Mom” became a reality.

During her pregnancy, I stepped away from the medical world and found my way with midwives, herbs, and intuition to guide us. This journey became our new normal, and when Health inc opened, Marissa was only four months old, and she has been a part of our journey in one way or another ever since.

Marissa’s passion for health and wellness led her to join the Health inc team. She manages our website and performs online and in-person emotional detoxes, creating and managing the All Natural Family Doc website. She is also the co-creator of our first product, EpiMatter, part of our Brain Food that Works, a line of healing nutrition for the brain.

With Marissa’s emotional and natural health expertise, she has become a valuable team member, bringing her passion for holistic health to everything she does. Her dedication to our mission is evident in all that she does, and we are grateful for her continued contributions to Health inc.
